  • Are your hotel rates per room or per person?

    The rates charged are per room although the cost may differ slightly for single, double and triple occupancy.
  • What are the different types of rooms at Hotel Akshaya?

    The Hotel Akshaya has 27 Executive rooms and 3 Deluxe Rooms
  • How many people can stay in one room?

    Each guest room can accommodate a maximum of three people. Please note that the third bed will be a rollaway bed or Mattresses.
  • Do you offer discounts for a group booking?

  • Do you have a pet policy?

    We regret that animals are not allowed to stay in hotel premises
  • Does the internet rate include breakfast?

    Only Deluxe room includes complimentary breakfast.
  • What are the standard check-in and check-out times of the hotel?

    Our hotel provides 24hrs Check-in and Check-out.
  • Do you have twin bedded room?

    We do have twin bedded room, and they can be requested upon reservation or check-in.
  • Are king-sized beds available in the rooms?

    Yes, we have king-sized beds in all the rooms, and they can be requested upon reservation or check-in.
  • Do you have rooms with a bathtub?

    No, we don't have bathtub in rooms.
  • Is there a safety deposit box available at the hotel?

    There is a safety deposit box available at the Front desk. They are available free of charge.
  • Is email service available at the hotel?

    Guests are able to send and receive email Via Wi-Fi at the lobby level only.
  • Can I make a reservation directly through the hotel?

    Yes, online through our website www.hotelakshaya.in
  • What is a Hotel Voucher?

    Once your reservation has been placed you will immediately receive your Hotel Voucher by email. The Hotel Voucher should be presented to the hotel upon check-in.
  • Is there any fee using our booking service?

    There is no charge to use our online booking service for room reservations.
  • Making a Hotel reservation - booking online how does it work?

    Booking online with Hotel Akshaya -- Go to our booking page and put in the dates, pick the room Type, select number of rooms, Enter Adults/children, Enter guest and payment details and hit the Make Payment button. After submitting preview will popup and click continue button. You will be redirected to the payment page where you will enter you payment details. Once you are done you will immediately receive an e-mail, containing your reservation number confirming that your booking has been confirmed.
  • I did not receive my confirmation?

    Please check your junk/spam folder as sometimes your email might go there. If you still have no conformation please email us with details to reserve@hotelakshaya.in
  • Whose name is the reservation made under?

    The hotel's reservation is made under the guest name as defined in your booking request. When you check-in you simply present the Hotel Voucher to the check in counter at the Akshaya Hotel
  • In case I have to make booking amendments who can I contact?

    Just use our online booking engine to modify your booking.
  • Cancellation policy

    Once we have confirmed your booking, we will need 1 clear day (24hrs) written advance notice of any cancellation. If shorter or no notice is given, we will charge your credit card/Advance Amount in full. You may contact us by phone, online. In all email exchanges, please make sure that the Reservation No. is included in the subject line of your message.
  • Can you arrange Airport Pick Ups?

    Yes, we are happy to assist you with Airport Transfers. Please contact at our travel desk.
  • What credit cards do you accept?

    We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard .

 

DINING

  • Where is breakfast served and at what times?

    Breakfast is served in the 'Tasty Point' Restaurant on the ground floor from 07:00-10:30 hrs.
  • How many restaurants and Banquet halls do you have and what are they?

    We have 1 restaurant and two banquet halls in the hotel:
    • "Tasty Point"- Restaurant (open 7:00-10:00 hrs / 13:00-15:30 hrs / 19:00-23:00 hrs)
    • "Swagat"- Mini conference hall
    • "Canopy"- The Banquet hall
  • Is vegetarian cuisine available in the restaurants?

    A selection of vegetarian dishes is available in the restaurant.
  • Is a special menu available for children?

    Yes, we have special menus for children on request.
  • Do you have 24 hour room service?

    No, room service is available during restaurant hours only (7:00-10:00 hrs / 13:00-15:30 hrs / 19:00-23:00 hrs)

GENERAL HOTEL INFORMATION

  • Do you have parking available at the hotel?

    Yes, we have ample parking place.
  • How do I get to the hotel?

    The hotel is located in the heart of the city.½ Km from Railway station, ½ Km from Bus-stand, ½ Km from Business Center (Dwaraka nagar), Walk able distance from Cinema Hall (Sangam sarat theater) and Shopping Mall(Big Bazaar), 10 kms from the Airport and 2kms from the Ramakrishna Beach
  • Do you have any special packages for honeymoons and anniversaries?

    Special packages are available for guests celebrating a special occasion.
  • Do you have a tour desk where I can book excursions during my stay?

    There is currently no tour desk available in-house, but we will be able to make recommendations according to your needs.
  • Can the hotel reconfirm my ongoing flight and make arrangement for domestic and international flights?

    Yes, the Travel Desk staff in the Lobby will be pleased to assist with your travel arrangements.
  • Is a doctor available at the hotel?

    We have a doctor on call.
  • How far is the nearest hospital to the hotel?

    0.5 Kms from Kala Hospital (Dwarakanagar) and 1kms form Apollo Hospital (Ram nagar) and other major hospitals.
  • Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?

    Currency can be exchanged in our front office on the ground floor. The nearest bank is located a 5 minutes walk away.

BUSINESS TRAVELLERS' SECTION

  • Can I connect to the Internet from my room?

    No, free WiFi is available in lobby level only.
  • What newspapers does the hotel receive and where can I get them?

    We have Times of India, The Hindu, Eenadu and Business Line.
  • Are secretarial and other business services such as translation available?

    We can provide basic secretarial support services. For specialized needs it may be necessary to employ an outside company. Please contact the business centre to discuss your exact needs.
  • Are offices available for rent at the hotel?

    We have a boardroom, which is available for rent depending on use. Other services such as catering and equipment are available.

SHOPPING

  • Are there any shopping centers near the hotel and if so, where are they?

    Big Bazaar, Just born, Khazana Jewellery, Vaibhav Jewelers, Kankatala Textiles is located nearby and is at walk able distance.
  • Are you close to the theatres/entertainment venues?

    Yes, it takes less than 5 minutes by car to the Sangam Sarat Theater (0.5kms) and 7 minutes to CMR Central (2.8kms) and 8 minutes to Varun Inox (3.9kms)
  • What are the local tourist attractions?

    All of the main tourist attractions such as Kailasagiri, Submarine- 'Kursura', Kambalakonda Sanctuary, Bhimili, Araku Valley, Simhachalam, Yarada beach, R.K Beach,
  • Is there dry cleaning/laundry service available at the Hotel Akshaya?

    The dry cleaning service is available from Monday to Sunday. Laundry received before 9 a.m. will be returned on the same day (laundry will be returned in most cases by 6.30 p.m. in your room).
